In this project you are going to be the teacher. It is going to be your job to create a lesson plan and website that clearly communicates your information. This is going to be a group project with individual components.
Geography Page
This section needs to consist of:
- An introductory paragraph(s) that explains the general geography
- Each member needs to write a section on a specific part of the geography in your area of the world (at least 2 paragraphs)
- All sources including on individual sections must be cited
- Pictures at least 5 (all of them must be cited)
History Page
You have two options for this section
Option 1: Each group member gives the basic history of one country in your area
Option 2: Working together to create an in-depth history of your region. The history page should be at least three paragraphs long. This is a GROUP work not individual.
- All pages must be cited in the correct format (easy bib)
- Each resource used for information must have the reliability form filled out
- Pictures must be cited in the correct format but do not need the reliability form.
- You must have at least 2 sources per person in your group. Your textbook counts. Each group member must fill out at least two of the reliability forms, more if more sources are going to be used.

Country Profile Page
This is basic information about your country. Included must be:
Country name :)
Capital
A map of the country (does not count for picture)
Fun things to do and see in this country (at least 5)
What is the country known for (at least 3)
What are the language (s) of the country?
What are the religions?
What is the countries GDP per person? (this is the avg. of how much money people there make per year)
Pictures!! (at least 4)
All pictures and information must be cited.

You are going to teach your information to the rest of the class. The lessons must cover 40 minutes and include everyone in your group. Be creative! Have fun!

Included in your lesson plan must be a list and description of what you are going to do and the time expected to finish each task. There must be some visuals in the lesson. All papers that need copied must be given to me by Friday April 2.
Presentation Day
As a group you will be required to teach for the entire 40 minutes. During this time the class must remain under-control, group must stay on topic, and it must be educational. Points will be deducted if the class is unruly, the group does not teach their information, the lesson finished too early or is not finished. Homework Assignment
After you present your lesson you need to give the students a homework assignment to measure or grow their knowledge. The homework should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. This can consist of a response essay to the lesson, reading on wiki or in the book and answering questions, wiki discussion post, or other creative ideas. These need to be educational focused and able to be graded for correctness not just completion. The homework will be due the day after the lesson is given. The group who assigned the homework then must grade it in addition to their homework that night.
Test Questions
Create 15 multiple-choice questions based on the information that you teach in class. Questions and key must be turned in on Friday April 2nd. DO NOT share information with other groups. Thanks!
